CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – The 2023 ACC Men’s Soccer Championship continues Sunday with quarterfinal matches at campus sites.

ACC Network will broadcast a quadruple-header Sunday, beginning at 2 p.m. with No. 6 Syracuse at No. 3 Virginia.

In the latest NCAA RPI, released Monday, ACC teams hold seven of the top 25 spots: Notre Dame (1), Virginia (5), Wake Forest (10), Duke (15), Pitt (22), North Carolina (23) and Clemson (25).

Seven ACC teams are ranked in the United Soccer Coaches poll, the most of any conference. Notre Dame is No. 2 this week and is followed by Wake Forest (6), Duke (8), Virginia (9), North Carolina (13), Clemson (14) and Syracuse (22).

• This is the 37th ACC Men’s Soccer Championship.

• In the last six ACC Championships, there have been six different champions. Syracuse is vying to become the first repeat league champion since Wake Forest in 2016 and 2017.

• Among current ACC programs, Virginia leads with 16 ACC Championships. Clemson is second (15). UVA has captured a league-best 11 tournament titles, while Clemson has won four.

• Notre Dame is the tournament’s No. 1 seed for the first time since 2014.

• Wake Forest (12 matches), Notre Dame (10) and Virginia (8) enter the tournament on long unbeaten streaks.
