CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Recognized for her contributions as one of the top athletes in the ACC, Virginia Tech sophomore Natalie Mitchell has been named Third Team All-ACC,  as announced on Wednesday by the conference.

“On behalf of the Virginia Tech women’s soccer program we are extremely proud of Natalie and the award of being on the All-ACC Team,” said head coach Chugger Adair. “Natalie has been consistently dangerous and committed to attacking and giving her all throughout the season. We have been very happy with her preparation, effort, and commitment to the program. We look forward to seeing more of her success as a Hokie!”

Mitchell led the women’s team this season scoring nine goals during the regular season. Her nine goals rank first among sophomores in the ACC.
