Virginia Women's Soccer | Virginia Continues Homestand With Miami Thursday Night

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia women’s soccer team (6-3-5, 1-3-3 ACC) continues a three-game homestand on Thursday night (Oct. 19) when the Cavaliers host Miami (3-7-4, 2-4-1 ACC). Kick is set for 7 p.m. at Klöckner Stadium.

HOW TO FOLLOW THE ACTION
Thursday’s game against Miami will be streamed on ACCNX and is available through stream the ESPN app and at WatchESPN.com for customers who have the ACC Network as part of their television subscription. Live stats are also available and links to both the live stream and broadcast are available at VirginiaSports.com. PARKING ADVISORY
Due to construction in the area in the early part of the season that has eliminated spaces in the JPJ South lot, fans are encouraged to consider parking in the JPJ West lot and parking garage.

TICKETS AVAILABLE
Tickets are available for Thursday’s contest and fans are encouraged to purchase in advance online at UVATix.com. Advance tickets online are $12 for reserved seats (if available) and $8 for general admission. If purchased at the gate, reserved seats are $15 if available and general admission set at $10.

  • Virginia is in the middle of a three-game home streak and is coming off a 3-0 victory over Virginia Tech in its last outing to give the Hoos the first ACC win of the season.
  • UVA’s 10 goals allowed is tied for third in the ACC with No. 1 Florida State for fewest goals allowed this season behind No. 9 Clemson and No. 3 North Carolina.
  • Cayla White is second in the ACC in goals against average and tops in save percentage this season.
  • White posted her 25th victory against Virginia Tech and is tied for 10th in career wins at UVA.
  • The Hoos rank among the top half of the league offensively ranking fifth in assists (26), sixth in points (80) and seventh in goals (27).
