Chelsea are reportedly planning on bringing Liverpool legend Sadio Mane to Stamford Bridge in the summer.

Mane departed Liverpool after six glittering seasons with the Merseyside club in which he won every honour available to him under Jurgen Klopp.

The Senegalese forward looked to have guided Liverpool to a second Premier League trophy with his goal against Wolves on the final day of the season last year but the Reds were ultimately pipped to the post by Manchester City.

However, less than twelve months since his final Premier League appearance, the 31-year-old could be on course for an unexpected return.

According to a report from Football Insider, Chelsea are monitoring Mane’s situation at Bayern with a view to sign him in the summer.
