Man Utd legend Neville identifies five signs that Arsenal are ‘bottling’ the Premier League title race

Gary Neville speaks about Arsenal

Manchester United legend Gary Neville has explained why Arsenal are definitely “bottling” the Premier League title race against Manchester City.

The Gunners have let their lead slip over the Citizens to five points with Pep Guardiola’s side now having two games in hand over Mikel Arteta’s men.

Premier League title glory is still in the hands of both sides due to them facing each other on Wednesday, in which some fans are billing as a title decider.

Arsenal have dropped six points in their last three games and the term “bottlers” has been used to describe them as they enter the home straight.

“That’s the energy they need to take into City Wednesday. Everyone thinks we’ve gone, we’re underdogs now so let’s go for it!

“I love watching title run ins as these emotions swing back and forth.”

And Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus – who moved to the Emirates Stadium from Man City in the summer – reckons the Gunners’ trip to Man City on Wednesday has become a “final”.

“Even if you don’t drop the points we dropped in the last games, nothing changes – it’s a final,” Jesus said of the trip to the Etihad Stadium.

“Each game is a final, we have to face them like a final. This is the most important game of the season for us.

“We have to manage ourselves to come back and be…
