‘Jaw-dropping’ bid for Man Utd, Chelsea target ‘lined up’; Liverpool star ‘agrees’ exit

Man Utd in transfer gossip

Manchester United and Chelsea could miss out on one big-money signing this summer, while Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino has ‘agreed’ his next move…

BOBBY ‘AGREES’ LA LIGA SWITCH
Firmino’s absence through injury has been surprisingly felt by Liverpool this season
and he confirmed last month that he will leave the club when his contract expires this summer.

The 31-year-old has proven when he’s been fit that he still has a lot to offer, so it comes as no surprise – especially given their love for a free transfer – that Barcelona have shown interest in him.

The Spanish giants are also being heavily linked with soon-to-be free agent Ilkay Gundogan ahead of his likely departure from Man City later this year.

The Daily Mail are reporting that Firmino ‘has agreed to join Barcelona’. Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has made it clear on several occasions that he would like the attacker to remain at the club but he is ‘set to leave after turning down the chance to stay at Anfield’.

PSG ‘READY’ HUGE OSIMHEN OFFER
Man Utd and Chelsea are both in desperate need of a new striker and they are both being linked with Napoli sensation Osimhen.

The Nigeria international has arguably been overvalued since his £71m move to Napoli in 2020, but he has moved to justify his eye-watering price tag this season, with him scoring 26 goals across all competitions for the Serie A leaders.

Napoli exited the Champions League at the hands of AC Milan in midweek and with the Serie A title almost sealed, Osimhen may now have one eye on what is going to be a career-defining summer.

Football Insider claim PSG are preparing a ‘jaw-dropping £133m Osimhen bid to blow Chelsea out of the water’. A ‘well-placed source’ thinks the Ligue 1 giants are ‘ready to bid the extraordinary sum’.

Chelsea are ‘prepared to enter a bidding war’ for Osimhen but PSG are ‘planning to go to even greater lengths to get a deal done for one of the hottest talents in world football’.

The report adds Man Utd are also ‘interested’ in Osimhen and Erik ten Hag has ‘already’ decided to sell four players to fund their summer transfer business.
