Tormenta FC Adds Forward Ryan Sierakowski to 2023 Roster

STATESBORO, Ga. – South Georgia Tormenta FC has announced the addition of forward Ryan Sierakowski to its 2023 USL League One roster on a 25-day contract, pending league and federation approval. The 2022 USL League One champion returns to Statesboro after spending the final half of the season with Tormenta FC in 2022. Sierakowski has also spent time with Forward Madison FC and New England Revolution II previously.


In 2022, Sierakowski helped South Georgia to its first-ever League One title after featuring in 16 games, accumulating 1,012 minutes across the regular season and the playoffs. Sierakowski scored his lone goal of the season in the regular season finale against the Chattanooga Red Wolves.

Sierakowski was selected 23rd in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft by the Portland Timbers. Sierakowski signed with the Portland Timbers 2 in March of 2019. From there, Sierakowski signed with Real Monarchs in 2020. Sierakowski also spent time with the New England Revolution II and Forward Madison FC of USL League One.

Collegiately, Sierakowski starred at Michigan State University, where he started 82 games and set the program record for most career points with 33 goals and 16 assists. Sierakowski totaled 7,184 minutes at Michigan State.

Tormenta FC will travel to Knoxville, Tennessee, to take on One Knoxville SC next Friday, April 21, at 7 p.m. ET. The following Tuesday, Tormenta FC will go on the road for its third consecutive road game to take on Major League Soccer’s Charlotte FC in the Third Round of the U.S. Open Cup.

South Georgia is poised to make a strong push for the championship title in the upcoming season. Fans can secure their seats at the new Tormenta Stadium ahead of 2023, with Season Tickets now available for purchase.
