Canadian Premier League Launches “Raised by the Game” Campaign Ahead of Milestone Fifth Season

Toronto, ON – The Canadian Premier League (CPL) today launched its “Raised By The Game” brand campaign ahead of the League’s milestone 2023 season, which kicks off on Saturday, April 15.

The “Raised By The Game” brand campaign is an ode to the valuable lessons every member of the CPL community, as well as every person who plays a part in Canadian soccer, can learn through their involvement with the game, which can translate in life both on and off the pitch. Soccer has a way of raising our hopes, our voices, our dreams, our awareness, our kids, us all. The CPL is proud to play its part in ensure that all passionate soccer fandom, and the positive impact it can have, is accessible to all Canadians.


“As we embark on our milestone fifth CPL season in 2023, we are reflecting on all the experiences, from the exhilarating to the difficult and everything in between, that got our League to where it is today,” said Tidiane Bah, Director of Marketing, Canadian Premier League. “Those experiences in the game helped raise us as people and as a League, and the lessons learned will help guide and propel the CPL community as together we focus on our bright future ahead.

“We are living in a special time for soccer for our country and the CPL is committed capitalizing to on this moment to further its role in developing soccer from coast to coast, so even more Canadians can benefit from the influence soccer can have.”

The “Raise By The Game” campaign will run throughout the season in CPL stadiums across the country, on the League’s digital channels and on dedicated soccer channel OneSoccer, available to all Canadian households through OneSoccer.ca, via Roku, Chromecast and Apple TV devices and with the OneSoccer app for iOS and Android devices. OneSoccer is also available to more than one million Western Canadians as a linear channel on Optik TV (Ch.980), the pay-TV service operated by TELUS, one of Canada’s ‘big three’ telecoms companies, as well as on streaming service fuboTV Canada. The 2023 season will also be available to fans abroad through Fox Sports in the United States as well as through other selected broadcasters worldwide and globally through the OneSoccer website and app.

The League will activate its new brand campaign throughout the 2023 season, in conjunction with celebrating its milestone fifth season, through digital and in-person community engagement initiatives.
