Wolves are reportedly preparing a final contract offer for captain Ruben Neves with Manchester United and Arsenal among those linked with the Portuguese star

Wolves ‘preparing final contract offer’ for £40m-rated Man United and Arsenal target Ruben Neves with the midfielder ‘open to staying at Molineux’ after revival under Julen Lopetegui this season

  • Neves has been monitored by Man United and Arsenal for some time
  • His contract at Wolves expires in 2024 and they don’t want to lose him cheaply
  • Reports suggest the midfielder is now open to signing a new deal at Molineux

Wolves will reportedly make one final effort to tie Ruben Neves down to a new long-term contract amid interest in the Portuguese star from Manchester United and Arsenal.

Julen Lopetegui’s side sit 13th in the Premier League table but are far from safe, with just four points separating them from the bottom three.

Wolves boosted their survival chances with a 1-0 win over Chelsea on Saturday, a game Neves missed, with Matheus Nunes scoring the decisive goal.
