Revolution II Game Preview: New England Hosts Philadelphia Union II

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – New England Revolution II is set to host Philadelphia Union II on Monday, April 10 at Gillette Stadium. The 1 p.m. match will stream live on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app.

Revolution II improved to 2-0-0 on the season after securing a 2-1 victory over NYCFC II last weekend, marking the first time New England has opened its season with back-to-back wins in team history. Jordan Adebayo-Smith tallied his first goal of the year in the 24th minute while Homegrown midfielder Esmir Bajraktarević notched the game-winner in the 89th minute. Marcos Dias earned the assist on Adebayo-Smith’s goal while Malcolm Fry tallied the game-winning assist. Nico Campuzano earned his second victory of 2023, making five saves on six shots faced.


New England holds a 1-2-0 all-time record against Philadelphia, last falling to Union II on September 18, 3-1, to close out the 2022 season. New England’s Colby Quiñones notched his first career goal on August 21, 2022 vs. Philadelphia as goalkeeper Max Weinstein made a career high nine saves in the match. Union II are 0-2-0 so far this season after falling to Orlando City B and Inter Miami II in their first two games of the year.

Following Monday’s match, Revolution II will head back out on the road to face Columbus Crew 2 for the first time this season on Sunday, April 16. The match will kick off at 1:00 p.m. at Historic Crew Stadium.
