Ex-Man Utd defender tells ‘arrogant’ Prem manager he’s a ‘bad fit’ for Chelsea, Tottenham job

Chelsea target Thomas Frank watches his players play

Brentford boss Thomas Frank “wouldn’t be a good fit” for the vacant Chelsea and Tottenham jobs, according to former Manchester United defender Paul Parker.

The former Brondby manager took over at the Premier League side in 2018 as he helped them win promotion to the Championship via the play-offs in 2021.

And he has carried on his success at the club into their spell in the Premier League with the Bees finishing 13th in their first season in the top flight and now find themselves ninth this term.

Chelsea sacked Graham Potter shortly after Antonio Conte left his role as Tottenham boss, while Brendan Rodgers was fired on the same day as Potter.

But Parker doesn’t think Frank would be suited to any of the Premier League jobs currently on offer, he continued: “When he took over the Brentford-job I was not expecting him to last that long to be perfectly honest. But he has done absolutely amazing.

“Now, he is being mentioned with Leicester, Chelsea and Tottenham. First of all, we must say that Leicester isn’t a better club than Brentford. I see no reason why he should leave Brentford for…
