Julian Nagelsmann is the FAVOURITE to take over from Antonio Conte after Tottenham finally sacked the Italian following his explosive rant… with Mauricio Pochettino and Frankfurt’s Oliver Glasner also in the running
Julian Nagelsmann is being tipped as the bookies’ favourite to succeed Antonio Conte as Tottenham‘s next permanent manager.
Spurs finally sacked Conte on Sunday after 16 months in charge, with his extraordinary post-match rant after the club’s 3-3 draw with Southampton proving to be the last straw with chairman Daniel Levy.
The club released a statement late on Sunday night confirming Conte had been sacked and that his assistant Cristian Stellini will take charge of Spurs’ final 10 games of the season.
Levy is now searching for his fourth manager in as many years and Paddy Power have Nagelsmann – who was recently sacked by Bayern Munich – as the 15/8 favourite to succeed Conte in the summer.
The market on Paddy Power is listed as ‘Tottenham manager for first game of Premier League 2023-24’ due to Stellini being confirmed as interim boss until the end of the current campaign.
