A total of six players made their debut for Toronto FC II this evening: Starters Theo Rigopoulos, Ethan Kang, Lucas Olguin and Jesus Batiz along with Marko Stojadinovic and Matthew Catavolo as substitutes.

Toronto FC II’s season-opening starting XI featured nine Canadians (Luka Gavran, Theo Rigopoulos, Adam Pearlman, Lazar Stefanovic, Rohan Goulbourne, Ethan Kang, Lucas Olguin, Markus Cimermancic and Reshaun Walkes) with a further three appearing as substitutes (Julian Altobelli, Matthew Catavolo and Marko Stojadinovic).

Four players from the Toronto FC Academy started for the Young Reds – Theo Rigopoulos, Lazar Stefanovic, Ethan Kang and Lucas Olguin, with Marko Stojadinovic coming on as a substitute.

Reshaun Walkes scored the first goal of Toronto FC II’s 2023 MLS NEXT Pro campaign.
