January 20, 2023 – United Soccer League Championship (USL)Phoenix Rising FC News Release

PHOENIX, Arizona – Phoenix Rising FC has promoted its General Manager, Bobby Dulle to club President, effective immediately, the club announced today.

“Phoenix Rising’s Board is excited to announce this very deserving promotion for Bobby, to the role of President,” said Phoenix Rising FC Governor Bill Kraus. “Bobby has been a steadfast leader since 2016 through both extremely positive and challenging times. We’ve made two USL Championship appearances, set the single season world record by winning 20 matches in a row and promoted players to several first-division clubs. We have also endured stadium expansions and relocations, COVID closures and coaching changes. Through it all, Bobby has been the glue that holds it all together on both the business and sporting sides of the franchise.”

Dulle initially joined the Club as Chief Operating Officer ahead of its rebrand from Arizona United to Phoenix Rising FC on November 28, 2016. Prior to the rebrand, the franchise had a record of 29-43-14. Since the rebrand, Rising has established itself as one of the top teams in the USL Championship with a record of 104-45-35. Dulle was promoted to General Manager of the club in 2018.

Phoenix Rising signed one of the top players in the world, Didier Drogba in 2017, won the Western Conference Championship in 2018 and 2020 and won the Regular-Season Title in 2019. The Club expanded its seating capacity from 6,200 to 10,000 in 2021 after selling out 23 consecutive matches prior to COVID. Phoenix Rising attracted the most corporate partners in franchise history in 2022 and expects to eclipse that number again in 2023, when it relocates its stadium to the City of Phoenix. The move is part of a partnership the Club announced with the City of Phoenix in November, giving Phoenix Rising a central location adjacent to the 38th Street and Washington Valley Metro Light Rail Station.

“My family and I continue to be grateful for the opportunity to work for this talented and committed ownership group and drive this club forward,” said Dulle. “The fantastic support we have received from our fans, the community and our partners since inception is what motivates all of us at the club to make Phoenix Rising one of the top soccer teams in North America. I’m fortunate to be surrounded by very talented people in the front office and on the soccer operations side. I know this group will continue to…
