Watford bad boy among five Championship stars whose transfer value has risen at the World Cup

Watford attacker Sarr

Ismaila Sarr was a no-show for Watford over the weekend and his performances for Senegal at the World Cup will have increased his value.

Admittedly, most of the 26 Championship players at Qatar either did not play much or were part of a dire Wales side.

McGree had a spell on loan at Birmingham before he joined Middlesbrough permanently earlier this year.

The 24-year-old is a manager’s dream as he can play in central midfield, out wide and up top. His work rate also made it so he was an indispensable part of Graham Arnold’s team at the World Cup.

Michael Carrick has already got Boro moving in the right direction and there is still a lot of time for them to secure a spot in the Championship play-offs. As one…
