14 Buckeyes Earn Academic All-Big Ten Honors – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Fourteen members of the Ohio State women’s soccer team received Academic All-Big Ten honors as announced by the conference.

To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must be on a varsity team (as verified by being on the official squad list as of Nov. 1 for fall sports), have been enrolled full time at the institution for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.

The list includes first team All-Big Ten and first team United Soccer Coaches All-District honoree Kayla Fischer who scored a career-high eight points and finished with a career-high 19 points this season. Fischer is a four-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree and is joined by Maddy Lowe and Emaly Vatne who also earned the award for the fourth time.

Two-time All-Big Ten honoree Emma Sears has now earned the award three times as has Nina LeFlore. Christin Baumbick, Chloe Delyser, Peyton McNamara and Haley Roberts are all two-time honorees while Tatum Adamson, Sydney Browning, Kailyn Dudukovich, Kine Floetre and Caitlin Foley earn the honor for the first time.

Ohio State was 11-6-3 this season and finished fourth during Big Ten play at 5-3-2. The Buckeyes earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament and made their 16th appearance in the tournament. They beat Bucknell at home in the opening round to advance to the second round for the eighth time in program history.
