COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s soccer team placed 17 members of its roster on the 2022 Academic All-Big Ten List, the conference office announced Friday.
The list included junior Laurence Wootton, a third team United Soccer Coaches All-American, a member of the first team All-North Region team, a 2022 First Team All-Big Ten selection and the 2022 Big Ten Midfielder of the Year.
Senior Keagan McLaughlin, the 2022 Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Year and First Team All-Big Ten honoree also made the academic list.
Senior Xavier Green and sophomore Anthony Samways, both recognized as 2022 Second Team All-Big Ten members, also performed well in the classroom.
The Buckeyes finished the 2022 season with an 11-3-6 record. After finishing tied for second in the Big Ten regular-season race, Ohio State advanced to the second round of the 2022 NCAA Tournament.
