In a hilarious interaction, caught on video, Henderson tells a fan that Bellingham that shouldn’t sign for Real Madrid in the future.

In the clip, the fan says: ‘Bellingham, you are the best central midfielder in the world. You are very good. Come to Real Madrid.’

Once those words are uttered, Liverpool captain Henderson says: ‘No, no. Not Madrid! No, he can’t go Madrid.’ He wagged his finger in disapproval as he spoke.

Another person in the background can be heard saying: ‘Don’t come [go] to Liverpool!’. Henderson can be seen responding to that but his response is muffled in the recording.

The man recording then turns back to Bellingham and says: ‘If you come to Real Madrid, you’ll win a Ballon d’Or.’

‘You think so? We’ll see,’ the Borussia Dortmund midfielder replies.

Trent Alexander-Arnold – who remained silent throughout the video – recently denied claims he was trying to persuade Bellingham to join Liverpool.

The pair are both in England’s World Cup squad – with Gareth Southgate’s side currently unbeaten and into the last-16 of the World Cup – and have been seen touring Doha together.

The Liverpool full-back shared an image of the two players walking around Qatar’s capital city which led fans to think a move for the midfielder was on the cards.
