November 16, 2022 – Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) – Mesquite Outlaws News Release
Veteran player Pablo Da Silva has signed with the Mesquite Outlaws for the upcoming 2022-2023 season. Per team and league policies, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Da Silva comes to the Outlaws with an extensive amount of knowledge and experience, with over 14 years in the Major Arena Soccer League, earning two MASL championships. Da Silva also has more than 23 years of experience of professional futsal, outdoor, and indoor soccer.
Da Silva is the United States Men’s Futsal National Team assistant coach. He has represented the Brazilian National Indoor team with several World Cup appearances and represented the United States in the CONCACAF Futsal Club championship and the Intercontinental championship.
With the return of the Outlaws, bringing on someone like Da Silva to the new team will add leadership within the players. Having an experienced veteran player with championships and many years in the league, along with the legendary coaching staff, who all have championships and many years in the league, the team is expected to be one to look out for this season.
Head Coach Tatu commented, “Pablo is a great addition to the team. He is a coach on the field and will provided excellent leadership in the locker room.”
When asked about joining the team and his goals for this season, Da Silva said, “I’m excited to be back on the field and be surrounded by and join professionals like Tatu, Sagu, and Nick Stavrou. My goals this season are to help establish a good culture, continue to help the new generation of players on and off the field, and bring a championship home to Mesquite.”
Come see the Mesquite Outlaws on November 26th, when they play the Amarillo Bombers in two preseason matches at the Mesquite Arena in Mesquite, Texas. Parking and entry to the matches are free and open to the public.
