SEATTLE – The No. 1 men’s soccer team closes out the regular season on Thursday night at Husky Soccer Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. and airing on Pac-12 Network.
 
2022 PAC-12 CHAMPS!
The Huskies clinched their fourth-ever Pac-12 title last week following a 3-2 victory over UCLA at Husky Soccer Stadium. Washington also won the title in 2000, 2013 and 2019. The championship was the first time that Washington clinched it on their home pitch.
 
HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE
Since 1997, the Huskies have posted a 178-60-19 overall record at Husky Soccer Stadium, winning at least eight matches in 13 seasons including a 10-1-2 mark in 2013. Earlier this season the Huskies set a new program record for single-game attendance when 3,876 people came to see Washington take on Seattle U.
 
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
Oregon State sits at 6-3-6 on the season with a 2-1-5 mark in Pac-12 play.
 
Mouthameth Thaim leads the team with five goals and four assists for 14 points. Ellis Spikner and Dante Williams have eight points on the year. Luis Castillo holds a 1.22 goals against average with 27 saves and 15 goals against in 13 games.
 
UW-OREGON STATE HISTORY
The Huskies hold the all-time record over Oregon State 44-17-6 with a 30-11-5 mark in conference play. At Husky Soccer Stadium, the Dawgs lead the series 22-0-9.
 
Earlier this season, the Huskies and Beavers tied in dramatic fashion when Nate Jones hit the equalizer in the 86th minute to walk away with a 1-1 draw in Corvallis.
 
UP NEXT
Washington will learn its tournament seeding selection on Monday, Nov. 14. The NCAA Selection Show will air at 10 a.m. on NCAA.com. The Huskies have clinched the Pac-12’s automatic berth to the tournament as the regular season champions.
