HEAD COACH JEFF HOSLER SAID…
“Obviously, it was an incredible regular season for this group, including going undefeated in conference play and winning our first trophy together. I think this group is hungry for more. This is an incredible opportunity, with a great environment and great atmosphere. We get to use a spectacular facility at Lower.com Field and have a chance to once again play on national television for our second title in 2022. I’m excited to see a quality soccer match, and I’m excited to see our team give their very best.”

KICKIN’ IT
With its Big Ten Tournament semifinal win over Nebraska on Thursday, the Spartans advanced to the tournament championship for the first time in program history. Graduate forward Camryn Evans notched the opening score early in the first half on an assist from freshman midfielder Courtney Koehler, but Nebraska responded later in the period to deadlock the game at halftime. Koehler responded in the second half with a goal of her own, sending her third goal of the season into the back of the net for the game-winner. In the process, MSU notched its single-season program record 16th victory and 10th-straight, culminating in a 16-1-3 overall record.
