Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp admits his side are “under pressure” although he refused to admit he was concerned after stumbling to a 3-3 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion at Anfield.

Leandro Trossard scored a first-half double to put the Seagulls up 2-0 before the Reds rallied, claiming the lead after Roberto Firmino’s brace and an Adam Webster own goal.

However, Trossard completed his hat-trick with an 83rd minute equalizer, leaving Liverpool with just 10 points from seven league games, sitting down in ninth.

“Concerning, I am not sure if it is the right word but we can’t ignore the fact,” Klopp said when asked if he is concerned about his side’s form.

“We are under pressure, we don’t ignore that. It’s not now that we increase it every day but it’s there.

“We want to do better, we want to have more points, we want to be in a different area in the table – that’s all clear and then you are 2-0 down against a really good opponent.”

Klopp insisted that Liverpool need to “fight” their way out of their issues.

“We weren’t convincing enough,” he said.

“I could not say I was 100% convinced we wouldn’t concede.

“We have to fight through this. The boys can play much better. We need stability, consistency and top defending.”
