1. Why did you choose Virginia Tech?

TP: I chose Virginia Tech because when I was younger I went to several of the ID camps here and I fell in love with the program and the school itself. The campus is beautiful and everyone here is treated as family which I think is very special.

2. What is your major and why did you choose it?

TP: My major is currently criminology. I chose this major because I enjoy the study of criminals and I want to be in a position to help others. I plan to minor in either psychology or national security in the future.

3. What is one goal you have for Virginia Tech women’s soccer this year?

TP: One goal I would have for our team is to make the ACC tournament and become ranked in the top 25. We have an excellent team with the ability to take down some of the top teams going forward and I’m excited to see what is next for us.

4. What is one thing you want to see or do in Blacksburg before you graduate?

TP: I would like to get involved with the community more and maybe volunteer somewhere that stands for a good cause.

5. What has been your favorite experience in Blacksburg so far?

TP: My favorite experience in Blacksburg so far was when I scored my first goal at home and the lights flickered. It was an unreal experience and having the support of my teammates and the fans was amazing.

6. How would your younger self react to your life right now?

TP: I think my younger self would be so proud that I am playing college soccer at Virginia Tech. It was always a dream of mine to play Division 1 at a school I love and I have never been happier about my decision.

7. Where would be your dream place to play, and why?

TP: If I could think of a dream place to play it would probably be Greece. I have always been eager to travel there and I think being able to play in such a beautiful place would be so cool.

8. Who inspires you the most in your life?

TP: The thing that inspires me most in life is making my family proud. They’ve given me everything they had over the years to put me in the best position to achieve my dreams, so I feel like I owe it to them to make them proud. Also, playing for my aunt each game because I know if she could be here today, watching me, she would.
