Ferdinand says there ‘MUST be something behind the scenes’ making Tuchel ‘unhappy’ at Chelsea

Ferdinand speaks on Sterling

Rio Ferdinand says “something is happening behind the scenes” at Chelsea to make Thomas Tuchel “unhappy”.

The BT Sport pundit was referring to the Blues manager’s press conference after their 4-0 preseason defeat to Arenal, which one would have thought would go a long way to explain his unhappiness, after which Tuchel explained the problems with his squad.

Why must there be? Tuchel has explained his reasons to be a bit peeved and they’re very good reasons.

“There are maybe some players angling for a move behind-the-scenes that we’re not aware of,” Ferdinand pondered.

Again, we know there are players that want to leave – Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech etc. It’s no secret.

“He’s brought Sterling in who will be a great addition, but if they lose the players that they’re talking about losing.

“Rudiger’s a massive loss, but Koulibaly’s come in – I think he’ll be a good signing this year. He’s experienced. But I…
