La Liga giants Barcelona have finally confirmed the signing of Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich in a €50million (£42.5m) deal.
Lewandowski, 33, had one year left on his contract with Bayern but had made clear his desire to join Barca, who put him at the top of their summer wish list.

The Poland international, signed from Borussia Dortmund in 2014, scored 50 goals across 46 games last season to help Bayern win a 10th consecutive Bundesliga title, taking his overall club tally to 344.
Barcelona said Lewandowski has a buyout clause of €500m (£425.9m) and has signed a four-year contract.
Lewandowski has joined up with the rest of the Barcelona squad in Miami on the club’s pre-season tour to the United States.
“I am very happy to be here. It was very easy to decide to come to Barca,” Lewandowski told the Spanish club’s media channel.
“Barca is back. I think I can help to put the team back at the top of European football.
“These have been long days,” Lewandowski continued. “I hope we get off to a winning start — I like winning trophies and this is a new chapter for me, with new challenges.
“This was an opportunity for me privately. I have always wanted to play in LaLiga and for a big team.
“I’ve already been speaking to Xavi and I know about his ideas. He was a great player and has a great future ahead of him as a coach.”
Barcelona are far from finished this summer and are actively pursuing deals for Sevilla’s Jules Kounde and Chelsea’s Cesar Azpilicueta.
They have already acquired Franck Kessie and Andreas Christensen on free transfers and recently signed Brazilian winger Raphinha from Leeds.
Kounde is also heavily linked with Chelsea and according to Foot Mercato, Barca have asked the French centre-half to reject a move to Stamford Bridge so he can join the Catalan club.
