Angel di Maria insists he will give everything from the off for new club Juventus despite the 2022 World Cup being around the corner.
Di Maria, 34, has joined the Old Lady on a free transfer this summer after calling time on his seven-year stay at Paris Saint-Germain.
The Argentina international has started afresh in his club career just four months before the World Cup gets underway, and while in contention to represent his country out in Qatar you could hardly blame him for having one eye on the tournament.

However, while he admits lining up at the showpiece is an unforgettable moment for any player, Di Maria’s sole focus for the time being is on Juve.
‘The World Cup is one of the best experiences for a player, but it is essential to have your head focused on the present,’ he said at his unveiling in Turin on Monday.
‘I repeat, I will always do my best for Juve. I always give my best to every new beginning and it will be the same here.’
Di Maria enjoyed great success in his time at PSG, registering 93 goals and 119 assists in 295 appearances while winning five Ligue 1 titles, as many French cups and reaching the Champions League final.

His rewarding stint in the French capital came following a miserable spell at Manchester United, where he failed to live up to an eye-watering £68million price tag before departing a year later.
All eyes will be on how well he copes in a new environment over the coming season, but the Rosario-born star says his attitude remains the same wherever he plies his trade.
