‘The World Cup is one of the best experiences for a player, but it is essential to have your head focused on the present,’ he said at his unveiling in Turin on Monday.

‘I repeat, I will always do my best for Juve. I always give my best to every new beginning and it will be the same here.’

Di Maria enjoyed great success in his time at PSG, registering 93 goals and 119 assists in 295 appearances while winning five Ligue 1 titles, as many French cups and reaching the Champions League final.
