TACOMA, WASH. – Tacoma Defiance (5-2-3, 20 points) hosts Earthquakes II (3-4-2, 12 points) tonight at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma (7:00 p.m. PT / mlsnextpro.com). The two sides previously played to a 2-2 draw at PayPal Park on April 25 that saw Tacoma win the ensuing shootout to claim the extra point.
Defiance is unbeaten in its last six matches (4-0-2) heading into the match, while Earthquakes II is coming off a 2-2 draw at St. Louis City 2. Tacoma currently sits in third place in the Western Conference standings with 20 points, while Earthquakes II sits in eighth place with 12 points.
Following Saturday’s match, Wade Webber’s side travels to British Columbia to take on Whitecaps FC 2 on Sunday, June 12 (2:00 p.m. PT / mlsnextpro.com).
