Spain forward Alvaro Morata has spoken out on his Juventus future after his loan spell at the Italian club ended.

The former Chelsea and Real Madrid man had spent the last two years on loan in Italy from Atletico Madrid, but it seems he will be forced to return back to the Spanish capital this summer.

That’s at least in the meantime, with the forward having plenty to work out regarding his future next season and beyond.

‘It’s not up to me, I can’t do anything about it,’ he told Relevo, via Football Italia.

‘But I want to go where the club is interested in playing me.’

The 29-year-old made 48 competitive appearances for Juventus last season, scoring 12 goals and registering nine assists.

The £50million man, who scored Spain’s only goal as they drew with Portugal on Thursday, has been a favourite of Juve manager Massimiliano Allegri during his stay, so his comments are perhaps aimed at Madrid manager Diego Simeone, who loaned him out and is yet to give the forward an appearance since he joined the club permanently from Chelsea in 2020.
