OTTAWA, ON – Atlético Ottawa is on the road for the second time this season, travelling to British Columbia for a week to face Vancouver FC on Sunday (KO 7pm ET, live on OneSoccer) before clashing with Pacific FC the following weekend. Ottawa remains unbeaten in all competitions, having won three of their opening four CPL matches, while Vancouver has a 50% win rate having won two (both at home) and lost two of their opening four matches.


Here’s everything you need to know before Sunday’s clash in British Columbia.

Atlético Ottawa àis unbeaten in all competitions at the start of the 2024 season (4-2-0).

Atlético beat Valour FC 2-0 at TD Place last weekend, taking Ottawa to the top of the CPL table.

Stiker Rubén del Campo kept up his fine vein of form with the opening goal and exciting u21 prospect Gabriel Antinoro added a second in the first half.

Ottawa was back with mid-week TELUS #CanChamp in the Quarte-final first leg against Pacific FC which ended 0-0.

The return leg will take place in Victoria, BC, on May 29.

Ottawa-born defender and defending u21 player of the year Matteo de Brienne earned his 50th professional appearance during the mid-week TELUS #CanChamp match at TD Place.

Nathan Ingham (goalkeeper) and Del Campo (striker) were named to the CPL ‘Team of the Week’ for the first time, while Amer Didić (defender) was named for the second time in 2024.

Del Campo has scored 4 goals in his last 4 matches (all competitions) as Atlético leads the league in Goals Scored (8).

Ingham leads the league in saves (13).

Didić leads the league in passes (269).

Vancouver FC has found success at home in the CPL but has struggled away this season (2-0-2).

Vancouver has the second-best attack in the league, behind Ottawa (seven goals scored).

Striker Moses Dyer is the joint top scorer in the league (2 goals).

Ottawa’s Manny Aparicio (midfielder) also has two goals this season.
