Colorado Springs, CO – The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC announced today that forward Kharlton Belmar and defender Triston Hodge have both been called up to camp to represent their respective national teams.

This will be Belmar’s fourth invite to the Grenada National Team Camp as they prepare for the 2022 World Cup, most recently being back in January of this year when he was called up for the qualifiers. While there he made two appearances, one as a starter. Last year, during the 2021 season, Belmar played in four World Cup Qualifiers with Grenada, starting three times vs. El Salvador, US Virgin Islander, and Antigua, and making a sub appearance in the match vs. Monserrat.

Triston Hodge has been invited to the Trinidad and Tobago’s National Team several times previously, being named to the squad for their friendlies in 2022, their Gold Cup Qualification in 2021, and their World Cup Qualifications in 2016 and 2017. He has made 19 appearances on the pitch for Trinidad and Tobago, accumulating over 1,300 minutes with the international team.

The Switchbacks FC are at home for their next match against Las Vegas Lights FC on June 3rd Tickets to that match, and all other matches, are available.
