INDIANAPOLIS – Indy Eleven completed what essentially amounted to a goalkeeper swap with Major League Soccer’s Nashville SC today by acquiring veteran netminder Bryan Meredith via a loan agreement for the remainder of the 2022 USL Championship season. Per club policy, financial details surrounding the agreement, which is pending federation approval, will not be released.
“I’m excited to get going here with Indy Eleven and to help the squad continue to push for three points every time out,” said Meredith, who joined the Boys in Blue for training at Grand Park on Thursday. “This is a big opportunity for me to get some games under my belt for a club that has been doing really well this season.”
Today’s transaction comes just two days after Nashville SC recalled goalkeeper Elliot Panicco from his loan stint with Indiana’s Team. Alongside Panicco and former Nashville SC goalkeeper Tor Saunders (currently on loan with USL League One’s Chattanooga Red Wolves SC), Meredith is the third goalkeeper with ties to the Music City squad in recent seasons to land on Indy Eleven’s 2022 roster.

Meredith joins Indiana’s Team after spending the last nine seasons on the rosters of Major League Soccer sides Nashville SC (2021-22), Vancouver Whitecaps FC (2020), Seattle Sounders FC (2011-12, 2017-19), and the San Jose Earthquakes (2014-16), making 24 appearances in regular season and Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup competition.
