Trainer Aidan O’Brien Looking For His First Sagaro Stakes Win

Believe it, or not – trainer Aidan O’Brien has never won the Sagaro Stakes. But he’s got a leading chance this year to break that duck with Wordsworth @ 10/3 with LiveScore Bet. Tis son of Galileo was a recent winner at Gowran Park so can be expected to have an advantage over the others having had a recent run.

That was his second career win from 9 runs and his seventh top three finish. He’s run well at Group 1 & 2 level in the past too and acts well on this quicker ground. Ryan Moore also rides (was on last time) so it’s hard to crab his chance – certainly one for the shortlist, but the only niggle based on the trends is that only 4 of the last 19 past winners came here off the back of a win.
