Paulo Dybala has reportedly chosen Atletico Madrid as his next club as the Argentine prepares to leave Juventus after seven years in Turin.

Talks over a new deal for Dybala with Juventus have been torn up by the club and he is set to leave the captain’s armband and number 10 shirt behind when his deal expires this summer.  

His position in Maximiliano Allegri’s team has suffered as a result of the January arrival of Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina in the January transfer window.

Now, as he weighs up who his next club will be, Atletico Madrid are in pole position to land the 28-year-old, according to Mundo Deportivo.

 It’s claimed Atletico investigated potentially signing him a few years ago but Juventus were not willing to part ways with the Argentine then.

However, now he is back on the market, Diego Simeone is desperate to land his signature and bolster his attacking ranks this summer in his search for a long-term replacement for Luis Suarez.
