TUCSON, Ariz — Jill Aguilera was named Pac-12 Offensive player of the week on Monday after her record breaking performance against Arizona State. This is Aguilera’s first Pac-12 Player of the Week honor and the only Pac-12 Player of the Week honor to be rewarded to a Wildcat this season.

In her final match as an Arizona Wildcat, forward Jill Aguilera scored a brace against in-state rival Arizona State. In her first goal of the night Aguilera moved to tie for first in program history for career goals scored (32). After the Devils scored the equalizer, she came back to win the match off an overtime Penalty goal. Aguilera secured Arizona’s seventh consecutive win over the Devils while also breaking the program record for career goals scored. She now holds the number one spot in program history for career goals, coming in at 33.

Throughout the duration of her final season, Aguilera has been a powerhouse for the Cats. She lead the team in all offensive areas, finishing with nine goals, one assist and 19 points in the 18 matches she started and played in. She earned herself three braces on the season, bringing her career total to nine. Her one assist this season moved her to tie for fourth in program history for career assists (16).

In Fall 2020, Aguilera had her playing right acquired by the NWSL Chicago Red Stars.
