Man United targeting £60m-rated Eberechi Eze but face competition from Premier League rivals for Crystal Palace and England star

Manchester United  will reportedly make a move to sign Eberechi Eze this summer but another big Premier League are also circling the Crystal Palace star.

Eze has a release clause in his current deal worth £60m plus additional add-ons worth in the region of £8million. 

The forward was named in the final England squad for Euro 2024 on Thursday and is preparing for his first major tournament as a senior international. 

Eze has genuine interest from a number of Premier League clubs with United and Spurs leading the race.

The Sun report that Sir Jim Ratcliffe‘s new regime want to make him their marquee signing of the summer transfer window.

Eze contributed 11 goals and four assists during a season in which injuries limited him to 27 Premier League appearances. 

Both he and Michael Olise caught the eye over the season and Palace do not want to lose eother.

United would most likely have to sell in order to meet Eze’s Tottenham are in a strong position to do so with no worries about profit and sustainability.

However, manager Ange Postecoglou has multiple areas he wants to strengthen and doesn’t want to spend too much of the budget on the Palace man.
