Alejandro Garnacho opened the scoring after a mix-up between Gvardiol and Ortega at the back.
And Just minutes before half-time, academy graduate Kobbie Mainoo doubled the lead for Erik ten Hag’s side.

While the finish was good, the goal was all about the brilliance of Bruno Fernandes. Having being picked out by Garnacho, the Portuguese international provided a first-time no-look pass to the youngster, leaving the City players dumbfounded.
