Orlando City SC will look to stay undefeated at home against intrastate foes Inter Miami CF this Wednesday. The Lions hold a 3-0-4 record against the Herons at home across all competitions.
Nico Lodeiro became the third player in Club history to total three assists in a single match. It was also his 15th career multi-assist game, the most of any active player in MLS.
Forward Luis Muriel scored his first career goal as a member of Orlando City with a 41st-minute strike. Muriel followed it up with a brace, the second goal being the Club’s fastest second-half goal in Lion’s history.
Quote of the Week:
“There’s always a way to prepare the games. Normally, we just make more relevancy in the way we think and how we can affect them. Obviously, we have to have references on the other teams and how, with our strategy, do we decide to impose our model or try and control them? In this case with Miami, we have a game that we played. We’ll try to make less mistakes than we did that day.”
– Head Coach Oscar Pareja
