The Story:

The last time Orlando City SC traveled to Chester for a match against the Union in Subaru Park was March 25 of last year in what resulted in a 2-1 win for the Lions. Orlando’s win stopped a 13-game win streak by the Union at Subaru Park and denied them a share of the league record.

Through the first 10 matches of the Major League Soccer season, Orlando City forward Iván Angulo currently ranks first among all MLS players in total sprints made during gameplay with 393 to date.

Saturday’s matchup between the Lions and the Union will see one player from each side missing due to suspension. Orlando City will be without defender Rodrigo Schlegel who picked up a 23rd-minute red card in the Club’s last match against FC Cincinnati, while Philadelphia Union forward Julian Carranza will serve a suspension for yellow-card accumulation.

Quote of the Week:

“Philadelphia, a very traditional model they have. They have changed a couple things here and there, but not many changes on the roster. What I see from Philadelphia is a very traditional team that plays very direct. They are trying to find the best version too. That’s what we see.”

-Head Coach Oscar Pareja
