The Story:

Orlando is now unbeaten through seven matches to start the NWSL regular season. This is the second time in Club history that they have been unbeaten through seven matches with the previous time coming in the 2021 season.

Pride forward Barbra Banda continued to show out for the Pride scoring a brace and earning an assist in the Pride’s midweek match against the Courage. Banda became the first NWSL player to record five goal contributions in her first two career starts tallying three goals and two assists in her last two matches.

In the series history between the Pride and Racing Louisville across all competitions, the home team has never lost a match in the nine-match run. The Pride have won two of the last three home matches against Louisville, with the draw coming as the Pride were the home team in a match played at the Daytona International Speedway back in the 2022 season.

Quote of the Week:

“Obviously, our spirits are high after a comprehensive victory over North Carolina on Wednesday. I think the hardest thing is to be consistent. Quick turnaround, going to the game against Louisville who have had a full week to prepare for this game, so the challenges are there for us, but the players have a great attitude to let that game go. Have the highs on the night but refocus on the task ahead on Sunday against a good Louisville team.”

– Head Coach Seb Hines
