CHESTER, Pa. – Philadelphia Union II announced today that they have signed attacker Leandro Soria to an MLS NEXT Pro contract through 2024 with a club option for 2025 and 2026. The 19-year-old Queens-born midfielder will be added to Union II’s active roster immediately.
“Leandro is a promising striker who has the potential to make an immediate impact,” said Philadelphia Union II Head Coach, Marlon LeBlanc. “He’s a fast, dynamic player who will fit well in our system and we look forward to integrating him quickly with the team.”
Soria, 19, comes to Philadelphia from the Argentina’s first tier league, where he appeared for Godoy Cruz, making his debut for the club in a match against Talleres de Córdoba.
