D.C. United and Audi of America Partner for Sustainability Night at Audi Field on April 27

WASHINGTON, D.C. – D.C. United and Audi have partnered for a sustainability-themed match at Audi Field on Saturday, April 27 at 7:30 p.m. EST when the Black-and-Red face-off against Seattle Sounders FC. In addition to the focus on building a more sustainable future through the thematic match day, D.C. United and Audi will also host several supporting initiatives to promote a sustainable lifestyle and future.

A comprehensive list of the sustainably minded efforts led by D.C. United and Audi tied to this theme match includes:

– City Blossoms: Audi will be donating $10,000 to City Blossoms which will provide one year of free school garden programming for 200 students.

– Fan Giveaway, Water Bottles: Upon exit, several thousand water bottles will be distributed to fans at the Audi Field gates.

– Electric Vehicle Displays: Audi Field is home to three prominent vehicle displays showcasing some of Audi’s fully electric fleet. Near the Gate A and C entrances, fans can take a look at the Audi Q8 Sportback e-tron, the Audi Q8 e-tron, and RS e-tron GT.

Sustainability Night presented by Audi provides our fan base and the community with an opportunity to learn more and join in our commitment to making our city a better place now and in the future through eco-friendly practices.”

As part of MLS Greener Goals Week, D.C. United and Audi will present City Blossoms, a local nonprofit organization that cultivates the well-being of our communities through creative programming in kid-driven gardens, a $10,000 check at halftime of the match.
