RENTON, WASH. – Tacoma Defiance (3-2-0, 9 points) hosts Whitecaps FC 2 (1-1-2, 6 points) on Sunday, April 21 at Starfire Stadium (8:00 p.m. / MLSNEXTPro.com). Tacoma is coming off a 2-1 loss to North Texas SC last weekend, the second defeat for Defiance this year.
With the result, Defiance sits in third place in the Pacific Division with nine points, two points above The Town FC and two points below LAFC2.
Tacoma and Whitecaps FC 2 matched up three times in 2023, with two sides playing to an even 1-1-1 record. Defiance won the shootout following a 3-3 draw on September 24.
Additionally, Sounders FC defender Nathan is available for selection tonight via a MLS loan.
Following Sunday’s match, Defiance stays at home to host The Town FC on Thursday, April 25 at Starfire Stadium (7:00 p.m. PT / Apple TV).
