CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – A spectacular first-half hat-trick from forward Jalen James propelled Chattanooga FC to a 6-2 victory over Inter Miami CF II in front of nearly 4,000 fans at Finley Stadium.
James opened the scoring in the sixth minute with a composed finish in the bottom corner before adding to two late in the half. Captain Alex McGrath scored in each half to add a brace and substitute Ethan Koren added one in stoppage time in a highly entertaining encounter that handed Miami its first defeat of the season.
Chattanooga FC will next travel to Huntsville City FC on Saturday, April 20 for an 8:00 p.m. ET kick-off.
