After more than 45,000 fans packed Levi’s Stadium last season to witness the Quakes win a 2-1 thriller over LAFC, this year’s highly awaited edition of the match will see the venue opened to full capacity for the largest Cinco de Mayo weekend celebration on the West Coast.

“We’re so excited to be putting on this marquee event at Levi ‘s Stadium and bringing Northern California an unforgettable gameday experience on Cinco de Mayo weekend,” said Earthquakes President Jared Shawlee. ” Having so many of our great fans come out for the match promises to create an incredible game atmosphere.”

The event kicks off with a Fan Fest featuring Mexico National Team legend Oswaldo Sánchez, Reynoso and Soltero of The Give N Go Podcast, social media sensations San Jose Foos, and other influencers and celebrities. The Fan Fest will open to fans at 1:30 p.m. PT just outside Gate A and will conclude prior to kickoff at 4:30 p.m. PT.

At halftime fans will enjoy a musical performance from award-winning Regional Mexican group Marca MP, who got their start in Northern California. Founded in 2018 in Modesto, California, Marca MP is currently comprised of Pedro “El Chato” Vargas, Esteban Salcedo, Diógenes Bojórquez, and Julio Torres.
