Sidekicks End 2023-2024 Season with a 3 Game Win Streak, Defeat Ambush 7-2

Allen, Texas – The Dallas Sidekicks defeated the St. Louis Ambush for their final game of the season. Previously, the Ambush beat the Sidekicks in St. Louis.

The Ambush scored 45 seconds into the first quarter scored by Skylar Funk. Despite the Ambush scoring early, the Sidekicks outshot the Ambush with nine shots on goal and the Ambush with two shots on goal. At the end of the first quarter, the Ambush were leading 1-0.

Two minutes into the second quarter, Sidekicks player, Moises Hernandez leveled up the game. At 8:56, Blas Pérez gave the Sidekicks the lead. At the end of the second quarter, the score was now 2-1.

52 seconds into the third quarter, Oscar Romero joined the score sheet giving the Sidekicks a two-goal lead. Nine minutes later, Ambush player, Kyle Swanner scored. Late into the quarter, Bradlee Baladez scored making the score now 4-2.

The Sidekicks then went on a three-goal streak in the fourth quarter. The first goal was scored 32 seconds into the quarter by Moises Hernandez making it his second goal of the game. At 5:52, Oscar Romero scored his second goal of the game as well. With 8 seconds left in the quarter, Anthony Powell secured the 7-2 victory for the Sidekicks. The Sidekicks ended the 2023-2024 MASL season with a 3-game win streak.
