SIMILAR FATES

Tampa Bay Rowdies (0W-0L-2D) and Rhode Island FC (0W-0L-2D) have had very similar starts to the 2024 season. Tampa Bay opened its season with a 2-2 draw at San Antonio FC after losing the lead in heart-wrenching fashion towards the end of the match, similar to how RIFC allowed a late goal against Monterey Bay F.C. in its second match of the season. Tampa Bay’s second draw came last week in a 1-1 match against North Carolina FC, where the club’s lone goal was an own goal scored by North Carolina’s Mikey Maldonado.
