RENTON, WASH. – After defeating defending MLS NEXT Pro Cup champion Austin FC II 3-1 on March 15 to open its 2024 campaign, Tacoma Defiance hosts Colorado Rapids 2 in its home opener on Sunday, March 24 at Starfire Stadium (7:00 p.m. PT / Apple TV).
Colorado Rapids 2 finished atop the Western Conference last season, tallying 66 points with a 19-4-5 record. Tacoma Defiance finished second in the Western Conference with 57 points with a 14-5-9 record. The two sides split the season series last year, with each team winning its respective road match.
Following Sunday’s match, Tacoma hits the road again to take on Ventura County FC on Sunday, March 31 (5:00 p.m. PT / MLSNEXTPro.com).
