Forward Madison FC Introduces the Forward Futures Summer Training Intro Program

Forward Madison FC Unveils 2023 Preseason Schedule

MADISON, WIS.- Forward Madison is pleased to announce that it will host a Forward Futures Introduction Summer Training Program, for youth players with a 2011/2012 or a 2013/2014 birth year. This program is an introduction to the Forward Futures program which is a training program geared toward the most driven players in the greater Madison area.

Players will be introduced to the club’s developmental concepts and principles central to Forward Madison FC. This weekly training program will consist of 6 sessions from June to July and will conclude with a 7v7 tournament with teams composed of players involved in the program. The dates for both the training and the tournament are listed below:

Monday, June 10th at 5pm

Monday, June 17th at 5pm

Monday, June 24th at 5pm

Monday, July 1st at 5pm

Monday, July 22nd at 5pm

Monday, July 29th at 5pm

Saturday, August 4th – Intra Squad Tournament

The program will be led by Forward Futures Director, Aaron Hohlbein, and Forward Madison Director of Soccer Operations and Development, Keith Tiemeyer. Hohlbein played for UW-Madison Men’s Soccer team from 2003-2006 and has coached for the school since 2015, as well as spotlighting in the MLS for three years., Tiemeyer was the associate head coach for UW-Madison since 2009, leading them to the NCAA tournament twice and a Sweet 16 appearance in 2017.

The cost for the program is $250 per participant. All registrants will receive a T-shirt. Goalkeepers are welcome and will receive some position-specific instruction.
