Inter Miami CF Set to Visit the New York Red Bulls this Saturday

Inter Miami CF (3W-1L-1D, 10 points) is set for MLS regular season action on the road this weekend, with the team heading north to take on the New York Red Bulls (2W-1L-1D, 7 points) on Saturday, March 23. Kick off at Red Bull Arena is set 2 p.m. ET.

Gaining Momentum

Inter Miami will aim aim to carry on with its positive momentum in MLS regular season action after the team’s 1-3 win over D.C. United last weekend. A brace from striker Luis Suárez and a goal by Leonardo Campana led the team to the valuable win on the road. So far this 2024 regular season, Inter Miami has recorded three wins, a loss and a draw for a total of 10 points and sits first in the Eastern Conference Standings.

MLS Team of the Matchday and Player of the Matchday Honors

Strikers Suárez and Campana, and midfielder Federico Redondo were selected to the MLS Team of the Matchday for Matchday 5 after their influential performances in the win over D.C. United.

Additionally, Suárez earned Player of the Matchday honors for Matchday 5 after coming off the bench as a second-half substitute in the 62nd minute and scoring a brace to lead the team to the valuable victory at D.C.

Club Milestone

With his appearance in the match in D.C., versatile attacker Robert Taylor overtook former Club players Victor Ulloa and DeAndre Yedlin (both at 82 appearances across all competitions) to become the Inter Miami player with most appearances in organization history with a total of 83 across all competitions.

Inter Miami will aim to replicate the result from the last visit to Red Bull Arena, as the team recorded a 0-2 win over the New York Red Bulls the last time out on Aug. 26, 2023. Overall, Inter Miami has a record of two wins and two losses in four previous visits to Red Bull Arena.
