FC Dallas Falls 3-1 Against Vancouver Whitecaps FC

FRISCO, Texas – FC Dallas (1-3-0, 3 points) suffered a 3-1 defeat to Vancouver Whitecaps FC (2-0-1, 7 points) at Toyota Stadium tonight.

DA BOY WITH DA GOAL

Midfielder Sebastian Lletget’s goal in the 40th minute of the match was his first goal for FC Dallas since October 9, 2022. Jesus Ferreira’s cross from the free kick was scored by Lletget, who headed the ball to the back of the post, beating the Vancouver keeper for Ferreira’s first assist of the season.

HOMEGROWN LEADER

Forward Jesús Ferreira is now tied with Victor Ulloa for most games played as an FC Dallas Homegrown. Ferreira also leads the Homegrown records for most career minutes, starts, goals, and assists.

FOR A THIRD CONSECUTIVE TIME

FC Dallas recorded its third consecutive sellout of the 2024 season. This marks the first time in club history that FC Dallas has sold out Toyota Stadium in its first three home games of the regular season.

DE IBARRA PAL MUNDO

FC Dallas midfielder Patrickson Delgado recorded his first start for the club. Patrickson made his FC Dallas debut on February 24, 2024. Patrickson recorded the most successful passes (65) for Dallas tonight. Dallas acquired Delgado on a one-year loan, with an option to buy, from Independiente del Valle on January 25.
